Andrea was diagnosed with early-onset Lewy Body Dementia in 2017. At the time of diagnosis, we were told that the reason for this was likely to be the multiple knee surgeries she had undergone, under general anaesthetic in a relatively short period of time. As the lesser-known form of dementia, Andrea's family would welcome donations for The Lewy Body Society, in the hope that further research can take place to combat this awful and fast-to-progress form of dementia.
